Peter Farrell

Peter Farrell served as a Trustee of the Foundation Board for 6 years, from 2001 to 2007. He currently serves on the Chancellor’s Executive Advisory Cabinet for the Campaign, Dean’s Advisory Board for the Rady School of Management, and Dean’s Council of Advisors for Jacobs School of Engineering. In the past he has been involved with the Health Board of Advisors, Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center Board, and UC San Diego Chancellor’s Associate Faculty Awards Nominating Committee.

Peter received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Sydney, and master’s degree in chemical engineering from MIT. He then went on to receive his PhD from the University of Washington, and a DSc from the University of New South Wales.
