Dixie Unruh

Dixie Unruh served as a Trustee of the Foundation for 6 years, from 1997 to 2003. She has been a dedicated UC San Diego volunteer since the early 1970s, and has been involved in many aspects of campus as a board member of the Friends of UC San Diego Healthcare, emeritus member of the Stein Institute for Research and Aging, and former chair of the UC San Diego Board of Overseers. She also served as Chair of Chancellor’s Associates from 1991 to 1993, and is a Life Member along with her husband Ken. She was a founding member of the UC San Diego Undergraduate Scholarship program in 1996.
