Deborah Bronston-Culp '80

Founding Partner, Samothrace

Deborah Bronston-Culp is COO and CFO of Samothrace, a premier platform that helps companies attract and retain diverse teams through executive placement, while offering leadership development programs and networking forums to women. She is also Managing Partner and co-founder of Samothrace Partners, which invests in early-stage companies with a diverse management team.

Previously, Deb was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Deputy Director of North American Equity Research. Prior to  Morgan Stanley, Deb was Director of U.S. Equity Research at NatWest Securities and spent nearly 15 years at Prudential Securities where she was Associate Director of Global Equity Research, Director of Analytical Training and a top ranked textile and apparel analyst for each of the seven years she was an equity analyst.

Deb received her bachelor’s degree in economics from UC San Diego and her C.F.A. from the University of Virginia. She was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2012, and serves as Chair of the Investment/Finance Committee. She also serves as New York Regional Cabinet Chair for the Campaign for UC San Diego.
