Dene Oliver

Dene Oliver is CEO of OliverMcMillan and OliverInterests.

Dene co-founded OliverMcMillan in 1978, a mixed-use and urban real estate development company known for revitalizing communities such as San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, River Oaks in Houston, Nashville 5th and Broadway, Honolulu and Waikiki and Buckhead in Atlanta. The company has designed and developed more than 10 million square feet of projects worth more than $4 billion. 

From 2018 though 2020 Dene served as Chief Vision Officer, Mixed-Use Developments for Brookfield Properties. In addition to serving as the Chief Vision Officer with Brookfield Properties. 

He was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2019, and serves on the Real Estate Advisory Council. He also serves on the Real Estate and Development Advisory Board of Directors. Dene also consults with the UCSD undergraduate real estate program as needed. 

Dene received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, attended the USC Graduate School of Business and received a Juris Doctorate from USC School of Law.
