Susan Lew

Susan Lew is founder of S. Lew & Associates, Inc., and founder and President of Emerald Chinese Seafood Restaurant and Pearl Chinese Cuisine. She served as Chairman of the Advisory Board, Vice Chairman, and Director of 1st Pacific Bancorp. She also served on the Board of Directors of Bank of Commerce, and is a Commissioner Emeritus of the San Diego Port Commission and a Commissioner for the San Diego Library Commission. At the start of her career, Susan and her husband founded a small real estate investment company shortly after emigrating from Hong Kong.

Susan has served two different terms as a Foundation Trustee, first from 2006 to 2012, and returning as a Trustee in 2017. A longtime member of the Foundation’s Audit Committee, she has also served on the Dean’s Round Table for the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), as well as the GPS 21st Century Advisory Board.
